He was originally reluctant to go public with this information but Bob Proctor talked him into it. he smashing success of "Spiritual Marketing" has led to this update.

by Jack Canfield
If you want to be successful, study successful people. This book is an indispensible treasure for your bookcase if you are serious about creating success, because Canfield has taken 64 timeless principles and distilled them into a success manual with effective applications for your life. The beauty of this book is that it covers success more broadly than most. Starting with taking responsibility it moves through belief systems, focus, time management, team building, coaching, goal setting, dealing with fear, asking for what you want, finding your passion, keeping your agreements, and much more. Read one principle a day and you'll go through the book every two months, which would be a very, very good idea.

The Power of Intention: Learning to Co-Create Your World Your Way
by Dr. Wayne Dyer
Dyer continues to raise the bar for those of us who are seeking to deepen our spiritual consciousness. In this book he describes "intention" not as a force of our will, but a force that exists in the universe with which we can be aligned. Dyer clearly shows us how to connect to intention, details our most common obstacles to connecting with intention, and then applies these principles to our self-worth, our relationships, our prosperity, our health and our tranquility. It is a powerful course in putting the Law of Attraction to work in our lives. Anyone who still feels the need to be "right" will have a hard time with this book, as Dyer makes it clear that being "right" will have to go if we want to stay connected to our Source. But we already knew that, didn't we? This is a book you will want to read more than once.
Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting : The Astonishing Power of Feelings (Audio book)
by Lynn Grabhorn
Grabhorn's work needs to be right up there next to your Bob Proctor material because they complement each other so well. Bob shows us how important our thoughts are in creating our results; she shows us HOW to control our thoughts by being in touch with our feelings! Grabhorn is a mortgage broker and has built a tri-state business with the techniques she shares, and the result is a very practical book. She's up-front about the trial-and-error process she went through over several years to put this into practice, and her experience is very helpful in cautioning us about pitfalls along the way.
The link above is to the audio book version, which is very good! Unlike some authors, her recording is engaging, wise and witty. It's available in tape or CD. If you want the book (we have both at our house), use this link.
Think and Grow Rich
by Napoleon Hill
This is the classic work that has influenced more people than any other book on prosperity. Based on 25 years of study and the interviewing of over 500 of the most successful people in the world, this book clearly sets out the basic principles of success that will allow anyone to begin the process of taking conscious control of their life. Hill says his book contains "a hidden secret" which Andrew Carnegie called "the magic formula" that is the key to riches. If you are familiar with Bob Proctor's material, you'll have no trouble spotting the secret. It changed Bob's life!
The Wisdom of James Allen : Including As a Man Thinketh, The Path to Prosperity, The Mastery of Destiny, The Way of Peace, and Entering the Kingdom
by James Allen, Andy Zubko (Editor)
The wisdom of James Allen is timeless and profound. His writings, although simple and easy to follow, contain life-changing truths that have influenced the lives of thousands. If you do not have his work, please get this book today!
How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling
by Frank Bettger
One of the classic books on selling, Bettger recounts his "on-the-job" learning that took him from fumbling beginner to the top in sales, even during the Depression! Although the book is dated in some details (the dollar values are tiny by our standards), the lessons he teaches are timeless, and they correspond well with the philosophy of use value, impression of increase and gratitude taught in our "Science of Success" seminar. Many of the top salespeople I know, including Bob Proctor, have this book in their library.
The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
By Joseph Murphy
The subconscious mind has been called "power without direction" and Dr Murphy's classic book is the basic reference for the process of taking control of your subconscious and putting it to work for you, rather than against you. This updated version has new examples and case studies. No personal development library should be without it.
10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace
by Wayne W. Dyer
Dyer has written a phenomenal library of books on personal growth, and this one is particularly good. If you would like to work toward new success in your life, without the stress and inner turmoil that often accompanies change, then study and apply these ten lessons! As Byron Katie says, "Stress is a sign that there is something wrong with our thinking" and Dyer takes us into our spiritual nature for the antidote.
The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success: A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams
by Deepak Chopra 1878424319
Chopra has become a favorite author of mine because not only is his wisdom powerful and timeless, but he is one of the few to purposefully associate the dynamic powers of mind action with the mysterious properties of the quantum field of modern physics. Trained as a medical doctor, his scientific background and his spiritual heritage make for a dynamite combination, especially for a left-brained person like me. In this book he discusses some of the universal laws that we cover in our seminars, such as Cause & Effect, Giving, Detachment, Intention and Purpose. And you don't need to know any quantum mechanics to understand him!
The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom
by Don Miguel Ruiz
In his discussion of "the dream of the planet", Don Miguel forshadows the movie "The Matrix" and its vision of a human population blissfully asleep, dreaming their lives away in a fantasy world created by others. The Toltec wisdom of the ancients has been brilliantly updated in this little book to provide a simple, but powerful set of tools for taking back our lives and creating peace.
You'll find echos of the wisdom of Wayne Dyer, James Allen, Wallace Wattles and many others here, proving once again that Truth is universal and no one culture has a monopoly on it. Don't be misled by how simple the Four Agreements seem; they are absolutely transformative if you have the courage to apply them to your life!
Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior
by David R. Hawkins, M.D.
Dr. Hawkins has written what might be the most important book in a long time. Inspired by his own powerful mystical experiences with the spiritual nature of reality, he has developed and tested a method to establish the truth or falsehood of any statement through contact with Universal Mind. Using the same technique, he can calibrate the spiritual consciousness of any person, writing or idea. His results correlate astoundingly well with the ideas in other works such as our "Science of Success" seminar and Lynn Grabhorn's book. His conclusions have enormous implications for the future of this planet, and you owe it to yourself to read this book!
The Hidden Power
by Thomas Troward
One of the most important and influential writers in the field of Mental Science, Judge Troward lays out a detailed and very logical view of the universe, its essential nature and operation, and the relationship of us and our mind to it. He sees the universe as, above all, orderly, and that all things in it work by law. Troward is not an easy read - he writes at an advanced level and deals with complex ideas - but this volume of essays is a good introduction to his work. You'll find quotes from Troward sprinkled throughout Bob Proctor's writings. If you like this book, check out The Edinburgh and Dore Lectures next.
Your Invisible Power
by Genevieve Behrend
Mrs Behrend was the only student that Judge Thomas Troward personally tutored, and it took persistance and determination on her part to even get in to see him. This book reflects much of what she learned about the creative power and process available to all of us. Her comments about visualization are quoted by Bob Proctor in the "Goal Achiever" workbook and he says, "These observations of Genevieve Behrend are some of the best I have ever studied." Considering how many books Bob has read, that's a high compliment!
Loving What Is
by Byron Katie
We all have people, events and circumstances in our lives that upset us. The problem is that we know we need an attitude of gratitude and positive feelings to create what we want, and upset puts us into a negative vibration - creating the wrong stuff! So how do we apply the Law of Polarity - see the good in everything - and arrive at acceptance and forgiveness?
Byron Katie has written a very powerful book about coming into harmony with reality. She teaches the truth that things just "are" and that it's our thinking about things that causes us pain, suffering and stress. She has a 4-question technique that you can use to work your way through just about any upset or forgiveness issue and experience peace. We have seen her in person work a room of 200 people with this process, handling issues from the trivial to the horrifying, and it was awesome! Please get this book and learn this process to take control of your reaction to life!
The New Psycho-Cybernetics
by Maxwell Maltz, edited by Dan Kennedy
When this groundbreaking book was published in 1960, Maltz's new view of the mind as a cybernetic mechanism took the personal development world by storm. Much that has been written since owes a great debt to Maltz's ideas. This new edition, updated by marketing wizard Dan Kennedy with new examples and case studies, is a valuable and informative companion to the original work.
The Richest Man in Babylon
by George S. Clason
One of the greatest books ever written on prosperity and personal wealth, this classic parable is simple enough for children to understand and profound enough for adults to learn important lessons. Clason talks not just about achieving prosperity, but about building a solid and enduring financial base for your life.
To his timeless wisdom I would add one improvement: Instead of paying yourself first, pay yourself second. Take the first 10% and tithe it back through some channel by which you are being spiritually fed, encouraged or blessed. This tangible expression of gratitude will, as Wallace Wattles says, "...keep you looking toward the Infinite and prevent you from falling into the error of thinking that the supply of riches is limited - and to think that would be fatal to your hopes." After all, the Law of Gratitude is based on cause and effect - and it's up to us to make the first move.
