What's the "333" Story?

one of the best problem solving techniques I've ever
found, and you can use it on any problem!
Perhaps you're trying to grow a business. You might

The Vacuum Law of Prosperity
“Riches come in response to definite
demands.... and not by chance or luck"

My wife and I have been cleaning out "stuff" in our
offices and in the house, and it made me think of
what Bob Proctor calls "The Vacuum Law of
Prosperity." I realized that this law is one of the
ways that we fulfill what Napoleon Hill referred to
as "definite demands."
See, desiring something without doing the "definite
demands" part is just daydreaming. This is the
mistake many people made from "The Secret" when
they thought that all they had to do was visualize.
Yeah, it would be nice if that were so, but it's not.
I believe that there are six elements to the process
of getting what you desire - purpose, vision, faith,
gratitude, clearing old beliefs, and action. When you
do these things, you are placing "definite demands" on
the Universe.
So how does the Vacuum Law work? Well, it means
that you have to get rid of the old to make space for
the new. First. You don't wait for the new to get rid
of the old. You have a vision, and you take action.
Bob tells the story of his Aunt Marg in his book, "Born
Rich." She hated her drapes and wanted new ones, but
thought they "couldn't afford them." Bob simply told her
that to get new drapes she should take the old ones
down, get them cleaned, and give them away.
Over her husband's strenuous objections, she did, and
in a few weeks, she had new drapes, exactly as she
wanted. That started a process for her that in a couple
of years resulted in a completely redecorated home.
The empty space and a vision for the new placed
definite demands on the Universe and made the new
drapes possible. You can apply this to anything you
own. Just make sure you give away the old, as selling
it seems to make replacement more difficult.
Does this mean that the new stuff will come to you
free? No, it doesn't. Sometimes that might happen,
but usually not. What it means is that all the
perceived obstacles to attaining what you want will
be removed. If you have a strong prosperity
consciousness, it'll be easier than if you are wallowing
in poverty thinking, of course.
What is there that you have to live with every day that
you'd like to replace? And don't tell me it's your
husband (although I guess the Vacuum Law would
work on him, too!) Look at your closets, your cupboards,
your garage. Is there any opportunity to apply the
Vacuum Law in your life? There sure is in ours, and
we're working on it.
