How many people's lives has Bob Proctor changed?
Gee, no one knows the exact number, but after almost
40 years of his powerful training programs, the number
is in the tens of thousands. Two of those people are my
wife and I. I've bought and we've studied all Bob's stuff.
I don't sell his programs to just make money, I sell them
because they change lives. And with my contacts, I've got
a basket full of his programs on consignment at the lowest
prices you've ever seen. When they're gone, there ain't
no more.
Where will you be a year from now if you don't do
anything different? Is that what you want?

"More About Purpose"
© Wes Hopper
"There is one thing in this world, which you must never
forget to do. Human beings come into this world to do
particular work. That work is their purpose, and each is
specific to the person. If you forget everything else and
not this, there's nothing to worry about. If you remember
everything else and forget your true work, then you will
have done nothing in your life." - - Rumi
In the last issue, we found two important things about
purpose:
1. Most successful people have a clear sense of purpose
2. The path of purpose is the path of joy
So how do you find your purpose? Well, the clues are
scattered throughout your life. Remember point number 2
above? Every time in your life when you touched your
purpose, you experienced joy, satisfaction and fulfillment.
It may have been quick to come and go, you may not have
noticed it, but it was there. For me, the clearest clues in
my life were around teaching. In my corporate job I loved
doing presentations. Off the job, I taught classes in church
and gave talks at business groups. I never thought of
myself as a "teacher" because I associated that with
schools. "What would I teach?", I thought. So I ignored
my inner guide for years.
Make a list of things that you like to do. Think of things that
involve other people, mostly. Most purposes have something
to do with making the world a better place, and people are
usually involved. Then look at that list for clues.
The best clues are things that you not only like, but that
other people say that you're good at doing.
When I made a list, I found three things besides teaching
that were important. I found that I loved writing, that I loved
having my mind stretched with new ideas, and that I loved
helping people solve problems in their life. Out of those
things came my purpose and this business that I have now.
Richard Brodie, whom we quoted in the last issue, says,
"For me, if I were to put a label on my life purpose, it would
be “special agent for progress.” Everything I do is about
progress, both for myself and for others. The advance of
technology lights me up like a little kid. I just love new
gadgets. Even more, I love seeing and helping people grow
in their own consciousness. And the more I feel special -
like I really make a difference - the more energy I have to
contribute."
So what is there that "lights you up like a little kid?"
If nothing in your daily routine gives you joy, you're
wasting your life. And just because everyone you work
with is in the same boat doesn't mean you can't have it.
It all starts with a committed decision to make a change.
Like a trapeze artist, you may have to let go of the first
bar to reach the second one. But it's worth it.
